How do I write an obituary?

• Announcing the dead person
• Recounting details about the life of that person
• Include all the surviving family members
• Adding a special message to the person's death
• Choosing the appropriate obituary photo

Do I want to mention only one of them, or do I want to only refer to my parents later, including step and foster parents? Statistical Record: This can include dates and events such as marriage, divorce, (some folks want to mention partnerships that have ended) partners etc. There is room later for things like travel and major life events. Survivors: Who are the people in my life I want to be listed? My partners, spouse, lover, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, half and step siblings? Note: It is customary for this information to appear near the end of the obituary.

Education and Major Life Experiences, Events: For the purpose of this exercise, you should start with elementary education up through higher education, and be sure to include on the job trades or vocational education. Include degrees or titles if you choose. 

What places have I lived: Do I want those newspapers to be notified of my crossing? List towns and states, name of newspaper if you know it.
