Kinder Newsletter - January Edition

We hope this newsletter finds you well and that your child is settling into their kindergarten routine. January is an exciting month filled with learning opportunities and fun activities at our kindergarten. Here are some highlights of what your child can expect this month:

Theme of the Month: Winter Wonderland

In January, we will be immersing ourselves in the magical world of winter! Your child will learn about the wonders of snowflakes, ice, and winter animals. They will engage in hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and even have the chance to create their own winter-themed art pieces. We encourage you to have conversations with your child at home about winter and its unique characteristics.

Field Trip Day: Visit to the Local Library

We are excited to announce that on January 15th, our kindergarten class will be going on a field trip to the local library. This trip will give your child the opportunity to explore the world of books and storytelling. They will be able to choose books to borrow and enjoy at home. We kindly request that you sign the permission slip and return it by January 10th, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Practicing Kindness

This month, we will be focusing on teaching our students the value of kindness and empathy. Through various activities and discussions, we will encourage them to practice acts of kindness towards their peers and teachers. We believe that nurturing a kind and caring classroom environment fosters a positive learning experience for everyone.

Save the Date: Community Service Day

We are excited to announce that on January 26th, we will be organizing a community service day. Our kindergarten class will be participating in a project aimed at giving back to the community. More details about the project will be communicated shortly. We encourage your child to actively participate in this meaningful initiative.
