Clean Cities and Its Petroleum Reduction Coalition: Leading the Way to a Clean Energy Future

City, State - Clean Cities and its Petroleum Reduction Coalition are proud to announce their partnership in supporting clean energy initiatives across the country. As the transportation sector remains the largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, efforts to reduce petroleum use in transportation are critical to addressing climate change and improving air quality.

The Clean Cities program is a national network of more than 80 communities that work together to reduce petroleum use in transportation. The program aims to support local coalitions to implement alternative fuels, advanced vehicles, and other fuel-saving strategies to reduce emissions and decrease dependency on petroleum.

The Petroleum Reduction Coalition is a non-profit, public education and advocacy organization dedicated to reducing our nation's dependence on petroleum as a transportation fuel. The Coalition works with industry, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote the adoption of low-carbon fuels and efficient transportation systems.

"We are thrilled to team up with Clean Cities to advance our shared vision of a cleaner, more sustainable transportation future," said Coalition President John Doe. "Together, we will work to reduce petroleum consumption and promote the use of clean, renewable energy sources that protect our environment and improve public health."

Clean Cities and the Petroleum Reduction Coalition will collaborate on a range of initiatives, including public education campaigns, policy advocacy, and technical assistance to accelerate the adoption of alternative fuels and advanced technology vehicles.

"Through partnerships with organizations like the Petroleum Reduction Coalition, Clean Cities is able to make a significant impact on reducing petroleum use in communities nationwide," said Jane Smith, Clean Cities coordinator. "We are excited to work together to create a cleaner, more sustainable future for generations to come."
