Marketing objectives are goals set by a business when promoting its products or services to potential consumers that should be achieved within a given time frame. In other words, marketing objectives are the marketing strategy set in order to achieve the overall organizational objectives. A company's marketing objectives for a particular product might include increasing product awareness among targeted consumers, providing information about product features, and reducing consumer resistance to buying the product

How to create Marketing objectives?

Follow these steps when making Marketing objectives for your company or project:

1. Make crystal clear Marketing objectives to make it easier to monitor if you established marketing goals. Set a clear milestone with specific indicators of success. For instance, compare a general statement, such as “We want to increase our conversion rate,” versus a substantive and specific one, such as “We will acquire 100 new customers from a certain channel in 1 quarter. 

2. Create Marketing objectives that are measurable:  By quantifying results and indicators, you can determine whether you’ve reached this objective. Increase your social media following 50% by the end of the quarter.

3. Ensure Marketing objectives are realistic. There is nothing wrong with being optimistic. However, make sure the marketing initiatives can realistically lead to achieving the goals. Setting the bar too high will not be effective. An unattainable objective defeats the purpose of setting one in the first place.
